I'll Fly Away by Alison Kraus
Dedicated to those that I have lost in my life, my grandfather and my great grandmother. Many times at church I heard this song, but until someone close to me passed away, I didn't fully appreciate the comfort that it can bring. When I hear this song, I smile and think of them.
I in no way lay claims to the words below and thank the artist for their inspiration. Some bright morning, when this life is over I'll fly away To that home on God's celestial shore I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh Glory I'll fly away, in the morning When I die, hallelujah by and by I'll fly away When The shadows of this life have gone I'll fly away Like a bird from these prison walls I'll fly I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh Glory I'll fly away, in the morning When I die hallelujah by and by I'll fly away Oh how glad and happy when we meet I'll fly away No more cold iron shackles on my feet I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh Glory I'll fly away, in the morning When I die, hallelujah by and by I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh Glory I'll fly away, in the morning When I die, hallelujah by and by I'll fly away Just a few more weary days and then I'll fly away To a land where joys will never end I'll fly away I'll fly away, oh Glory I'll fly away, in the morning When I die, hallelujah by and by I'll fly away I'll fly away ![]() Home Gor My life Essays Self Examination Quotes Music Resources Credits Links Email Other Stuff
